Dear NTC Student
Greeting in that wonderful and matchless name of my Lord and your Lord Jesus Christ who died to save us from our sins and rose from the dead to give us Life Eternal! Praise be to His name!!
Our mission as NTC is to train men and women, clergy and laity for ministry in the African context so that they may in turn be able to serve God in the Church, in their communities and in the world. Our vision is to make Theological education accessible to all, affordable and available.
Our BTh programme will soon be going online, however we will be continuing with the correspondence for those who would rather email their assignments and for those of you who do not have internet access. What is then needed from each of you is commitment, self discipline and diligence in all you do (2 Tim. 2:15). In order to divide God's Word rightly we need to be fully equipped and diligent in studying the Word and most importantly, we need to seek to hear from God.
Our hope is to produce not only men and women of God, but we also seek to produce independent thinkers and community builders. God gave us this time to make a difference in the area where He placed us. Therefore strive to leave a mark, so that at the end of your days you may say with the Apostle Paul: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2Tim 4:7)
I pray that this journey will not only be enjoyable but also beneficial, that it will be a journey of spiritual and intellectual growth. May God richly bless you as you obey His calling and start this journey towards fulfilling what He has planned for you. And remember, you are never alone, NTC is only an email or a phone call away.
